Karma

This was what I got out of Wikipedia when I typed 'Karma' in the search engine.

Karma (Sanskritकर्म IPA: [ˈkərmə] ( listen);[1] Palikamma) in Indian religions is the concept of "action" or "deed", understood as that which causes the entire cycle of cause and effect (i.e., the cycle called saṃsāra) originating in ancient India and treated in the HinduJainBuddhist and Sikh religions.[2]
Do you believe in Karma? Being a hindu, I do. But you know what makes me really believe in Karma?

Them.

What I look at everyday.

For me,
Long Holiday = Frequent Mental Attacks

So, to reduce the occurence of these mental attacks, I make it a point that I look at the following pages.
It's the reason why i'm still sane.

First, Twitter.

Next, Tumblr.

Lastly, U Torrent.

:)

Guilt.

Things have happened. Some, important. & some, not so important.
But these things that has happened, not many people are aware of.
Well, because I've not told anybody. Except for the people at home, no one really knows.
There are many reasons why I didnt tell them. Mostly because i've been phone-less for a month
now. T_T

But whatever it it, I feel incredibely guilty !

So, let me summarize the things that have happened.

-results from previous college were out. not so good. not good at all.
-wanted to apply  somewhere else,BUT i was not even eligible -.-
-got a provisional letter to do the degree course I much love from my previous college.
-thought i'll just go there. thought i was left with no option.
-but never gave up.
-did a lot of research.
-wanted to get into a college which was approved by the Malaysian Medical Council so badly.
-found ONE college that accepted my FIS cert.
-BUT, i would have to go for a ENTRANCE exam. (MET-medical entrace exam)
-as usual, I behaved cowardly. didnt wanna do it. (because only I know how much I've forgotten!)
-dad,mom insisted in me doing it -.-
-had ONE week to study for 4 subjects ( syllabus comprising ALL secondary & pre-U subjects)
- practically died that week. alot of tears.alot of prayers.
-went for the exam. Cried in the hall. couldnt do it. Guessed my way out of it.
-told mom & dad to forget it. will never get in.
-the people in the college said they'll call the next day with my results. but, NO phone call.
-3 days later, they callled.
-they said I got in.
-2 days later, I was a registered student.
-Next week, I start my classes. (not officially)

So, see. Things just happens sometimes. I really didnt want to go back to my previous college. And its happening :)
I'm so sorry I didnt tell anyone. I didnt know how to say it to them (Especially to those who were going to be my course mates again, I didnt know how to break the news to you guys.)
I, truly, am sorry .Never had such good friends. Been so thankful.

But I dont think I will ever stop feeling guilty....

sorry.

That time of the year...

What does New Years mean to you? A fresh new start? A chance to finally get it right? Is New Year a time to try again, to see if you can get it better, to move onward and upward?New Year can mean many things to different people. Its all about prespective. (Yes, the half filled glass theory) But for me, New Years is just another day.I still get up from bed. Have my weird thoughts. Think, think and think the whole day. Enjoy my play time with Mini,Judie,Ziva & Ceasar (new additions XD). Watch alot of TV. READ. dream about writing an amazing story. Then thinking about how I suck in writing. Its the same everyday. It has been the same for many years. And I doubt it'll change.
But wanna know my least favourite bit about New Years? R.E.S.O.L.U.T.I.O.N.S
wonder why it never works for me?

I suppose this is how it should look like.

But who am I to break traditions? When its new years, everyone has resolutions. So, I think I kinda have some myself too. Lets just hope some of em' actually work out this time..

....to read more....
....to write more....
....to NOT take everything for granted....
....to forgive & forget....
....to find out the purpose of my existence....
uhm, what else?
oh Yes!
how could I forget? It has been the constant one for many years. The most priced resolution ever.

....to lose weight....
&  I hope when I'm welcoming 2013, I'll be doing it in a different(fun) way.

So, here's me wishing EVERYONE i love a very Happy New Year.

This is How We Do It =)

Diwali is (for me) all about traditions which has been passed down for generations. Every year it falls on a different day, but same customs are being followed .  I’m not gonna say much. I’ll just let the pictures do all the talking =)
Cookie baking session :D

And there were flowers, ALOT of em' . For decoration purposes.

Indian SWEETS ! Incredibely delicious!

Well, thats why its called The Festival of Lights ;)

And there were fireworks . ( Fireworks = Sound Polution + Air Polution) I personally hate fireworks. Its my brother who loves them.

I just had to put this on my blog. The picture on the left is the Indian Map ( Green region) . And the picture on the right is India on a Diwali night. Breath-taking, I know! Picture courtesy by the NASA satellite. Diwali is truly a grand celebration !

Happy Diwali!

Phobias

Everyone has their own fear. And living with fear is a horrible thing. And when this fear interferes with our daily life, it can be depressing. Some people may prefer to not voice out their fear, afraid of what people may think about them. Because PHOBIAS can be really are weird. How certain phobias make your body feel can be absurd. Speaking about weird phobias, here’s a little something I would like to share ;)

“Abby worked at a law firm. This law firm was situated on a tall building. The elevators worked well. But due to the power cuts, the staffs of the law firm found themselves using the emergency stairway often. Most complained, very few didn’t. Most of us know, in this era of modern science, people have become too dependent on technology and are addicted to luxury. So, what do you expect? A modern, high-tech and highly lazy society. Abby was one of the majorities. She complained all the time and it got on the nerves of her colleagues. As if work wasn’t a burden, they had to listen to her wine every time there was a power cut. The fact that she was overweight made them label her as a fat slob. But only Abby knew what she felt whenever she used the stairway. Climbing up the stairs was never a problem, if it was, it would be her lack of stamina, but the problem was descending the stairs. Her heartbeat would shoot up the roof. Her breathing would increase as if she was running a marathon. Most of all, she would experience fear. Yes, fear. Fear of falling from stairs. Fear of Stairs. Abby was Bathmophobiac. She had a fear of stairs and slopes. She was not only afraid of stairs but she despised anything to do with heights. Acrophobia, to name it. Acrophobia and bathmophobia usually are closely linked with Vertigo. Vertigo is often used to describe a fear of heights, but it is more accurately a spinning sensation that occurs when one is not actually spinning. It can be triggered by looking down from a high place, or by looking straight up at a high place or tall object, but this alone does not describe vertigo. True vertigo can be triggered by almost any type of movement (e.g. standing up, sitting down, walking) or change in visual perspective (e.g. squatting down, walking up or down stairs, looking out of the window of a moving car or train). Vertigo is qualified as height vertigo when referring to dizziness triggered by heights.”

So, yeah. I created the whole bit up but this little story is based on reality. We are supposedly called the generation of smart youths. So, let’s live up to that name and respect & help the people who need help. Help them overcome their fear. You wouldn’t know it unless you were in their shoes yourself.

Stay obsessed ;)
